Do Not Feed Your Dog or Cat Any Nutro Pet Food Products!

If your puppy or dog has gotten sick with pancreatitis or kidney or liver problems, please click on the link above and read about Nutro Pet Foods. If you are feeding a puppy Nutro it could negatively impact growth and joint health too.

Shipping Info:

Information for those having their puppy shipped by plane. We only use Northwest, non-stop flights if possible.  Northwest Airlines Cargo: 1-800-692-2746 When you come to the airport to pick up your puppy be sure to have the drivers license that is on the Vet Cert. You will also need a collar and leash. Puppies are not leash trained yet. Puppies will not be fully potty trained yet either.  Now is the best time to start. You may need baby wipes in case puppy has messed in his/her kennel. The first thing you need to do is take puppy to a quiet spot to potty. Then offer water and food. This is the first time your puppy will be away from his littermates. He will miss the constant warmth, movement and noise. A Snuggle Puppy will be great for him to snuggle up to. Your puppy is used to colder temps, so may get overly warm at first. He may pant. Be sure to have water and food down all the time. The most common problem after shipping is a bladder infection. Signs include straining to pee or peeing too frequently. Give lots of water to avoid this problem. Puppy will need to be shown the food and water dish frequently, as they forget. When puppy eats, drinks, plays, wakes up, take him out to potty. Another common problem after shipping is Diarrhea caused by stress or change of water. Usually this goes away on its own. You can give a little canned pumpkin to help. Don't use medications unless prescribed by a Vet. If Diarrhea does not go away in a day or is blasting, take to vet immediately. Try using bottled water and gradually adding your tap water.  We feed Purina Puppy chow for the first year. You can offer your puppy either regular or healthy morsels. Do not use large breed puppy formulas. We are here, if you have questions or need advice, just call us. Most puppies will just settle right in with no problems at all. Be sure to have your puppy checked by your vet within three days of arrival. I recommend another worming too. Now is also the time to sign up for puppy kindergarten. Remember socialize your puppy now. The first four months are the most important to a well adjusted adult dogge. Thanks, Nan

PS: Puppies cannot be shipped if the temp at time of shipping is under 10 degrees or above 74 degrees. Also we drive 6 hours roundtrip, so if the roads are bad, due to snow, or storms, shipping will be delayed until the next good day, at no extra cost to you.
