We've been Olde English Bulldogge breeders
exclusively for 21 years.

Our Olde English Bulldogges are from 70-80 pounds for the males and
females 60-70 pounds. Sizes depend on the size of the parents. Our dogs are a
combination of the finest bloodlines available including the Greenly bloodline
created by us, Hermes, Leavitt, Kings River and Sullivan bloodlines. Our goal is
to produce a sound, healthy, free whelping, free breathing, working and/or
companion bulldog.
We do not concern ourselves with creating "Giant Bulldogs". That is not our
goal. These
are not Victorian, English,
Renascence
or British bulldogs. English bulldog is only used in the foundation and never crossed back to again.
Our dogs are high energy and athletic, not fat couch potatoes or just a
bigger version of the English Bulldog. Olde Bulldogs are able to run
and play with your family.
Our dogs are our re-creation of the Olde Tyme Working
Bulldogge of Great Britain and early colonial America. Our pups are
sold with full breeding rights, although occasionally one may be
available that is pet quality and will be sold with a spay/neuter
contract. These 'dogges require obedience training. If you do not have
the time and energy to participate in obedience classes please consider
another breed as your pet.
Do not be in a hurry to buy your puppy.
Research the breed.
Research the breeder. If you need referrals to other breeders feel free
to ask. We can send you to other very reputable breeders, who may have
the pup you're looking for. We realize that our dogs are not for
everyone and there are other variations of Bulldogge that may be just
right for you.
From time to
time, people tell me, “lighten up, it’s just a dog,” or, “that’s a lot
of money for just a dog.” They don’t understand the distance traveled,
the time spent, or the costs involved for “just a dog.” Some of my
proudest moments have come about with “just a dog.” Many hours have
passed and my only company was “just a dog,” but I did not once feel
slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by “just a
dog,” and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of “just a dog”
gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.
If you, too, think it’s “just a dog,” then you will probably understand
phases like “just a friend,” “just a sunrise,” or “just a promise.”
“Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust,
and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and
patience that make me a better person. Because of “just a dog” I will
rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. So for me
and folks like me, it’s not “just a dog” but an embodiment of all the
hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the
pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what’s good in me and
diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day.
I hope that someday they can understand that it’s not “just a dog” but
the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a man.”
So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog.” just smile, because
they “just don’t understand.”
"He is your friend, your partner, your
defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true,
to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
Resolve to be tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving,
and tolerant with the weak and wrong,
because sometime in your life
you will have been all of these.
